Overview
Role: QA Automation Engineer with Python & Embedded Systems Testing (W2 Contract) Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite is required) Job Type: W2 Contract Candidates who are locals to San Jose, CA or ready to move quickly would be highly preferred Responsibilities
Design and implement automated test cases to validate embedded device behavior, confirming different editions of devices work alike. Collaborate with QA teams across the US and India to develop and maintain robust automation frameworks. Utilize APIs to interact with devices and systems under test. Strong advantage: Experience working hands-on with lab equipment, embedded hardware, and connectivity tools (e.g., SSH). Ensure high productivity and engagement while working on-site in our San Jose, CA office. Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Test Automation using Python, with past or current embedded testing experience. Strong proficiency in Python for test automation. Experience validating device behaviors through automated testing, focusing on cellular modules such as BG95, BG96, and CAT M1 is preferred. Nice to have / Preferred
Experience with embedded systems and cellular modules (BG95, BG96, CAT M1). Familiarity with lab environments, hardware devices, and SSH-based connectivity. Job Details
