We are hiring a skilled Material Handler for our operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our facility. Key duties include operating forklifts and other heavy equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This position is critical to our overall logistics process, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are managed effectively. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper securing.
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Accurately track inventory movements using our warehouse management system.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance Safety and productivity.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
- Support the overall logistics operations through diligent material handling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work, including frequent Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Strong understanding of material handling principles and Safety practices.
- Must be able to wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment and follow instructions precisely.
