We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your daily tasks will involve locating specific items within the warehouse, meticulously picking them, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our supply chain and logistics operations, directly impacting our ability to deliver products to customers on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order forms and RF scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product integrity.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety .
- Meet established performance metrics for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to wear and utilize necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
