As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from inventory based on order details.
- Verify picked items against order forms or scanning devices.
- Inspect products for damage before packaging.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of and commitment to warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
