Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
- Manage inventory control processes and conduct regular audits.
- Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Manage operational costs and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain records and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe lifting practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with WMS and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
This supervisory role demands a strong emphasis on safety leadership, ensuring that all team members follow protocols for lifting and use appropriate PPE. You will be guiding our logistics operations in Charlotte.
