Join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida, as a general Warehouse Worker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to support a variety of warehouse functions, ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facility. This role is essential for our operations, involving tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will work in a hands-on capacity, contributing to inventory accuracy and overall efficiency. A commitment to safety, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical tasks are key requirements for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed and trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear and correctly use all required PPE, such as safety vests and footwear.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stocktaking.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and support logistics functions.
- Follow all instructions and company guidelines meticulously.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics operations.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and utilize provided PPE.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills.
