About
We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our St. Louis, Missouri logistics facility. As a vital member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. This role involves picking items from inventory, packaging them securely for transit, and ensuring they are ready for shipment. Your dedication to quality and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong commitment to safety in all aspects of your work.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve correct items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Pack items safely and securely to prevent damage during shipping, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely, as trained.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing quotas.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Participate in inventory management tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the logistics department.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper lifting techniques are used at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar role is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, lift, bend, and carry.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety standards and use all designated PPE.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
