Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for accuracy? We are hiring an Order Picker to join our dedicated logistics team in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving specified items from warehouse locations, preparing them for packing, and maintaining an organized and efficient picking process. Your efficiency directly impacts our ability to meet delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details to minimize errors.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for the packing team.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Understand and follow the logistics flow of goods within the warehouse.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs will be required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
