Job Description As a System Engineer you will join our team in Peterborough to support our activities within the Automotive sector. You will join the Electrical Systems & Advanced Machine Control team. The project will focus on the design, integration, and lifecycle management of complex systems that underpin next‑generation machine control technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Define, capture, and manage engineering requirements.
Lead system design and integration across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
Deliver verification and validation activities in alignment with the V‑Model.
Work with external suppliers and stakeholders where required to define specifications and integration requirements.
Ensure designs adhere to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Required Skills
2–3 years of professional experience in systems engineering
Strong foundation in mechanical and electronic engineering
Proficiency with DOORS, MATLAB, and Simulink
Familiarity with the V‑Model systems lifecycle
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Previous experience in Aerospace, Defence, or other safety‑critical industries
