Job Description

WellTech Partners is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time, permanent basis. Due to a consistent increase in patient volume, we are looking for a compassionate clinician who values a balanced schedule and excels in specialized, one-on-one care.

This unique role offers a focused 3-day workweek, split between two rewarding specialties: Hand Therapy in the mornings and Aquatic Therapy in the afternoons. You will be an integral part of our supportive, collaborative team, focused on achieving exceptional patient outcomes in our modern outpatient clinic.

Schedule & Role Structure:

• Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Morning Shift (8:00 AM): Focus on Hand Therapy evaluation and treatment.
• Afternoon Shift: Transition to Aquatic Therapy sessions.
• This structured approach allows for deep focus and variety within a manageable 3-day schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse adult and mixed-age caseload.
• Provide dedicated 1:1 therapy sessions, split between hand therapy (AM) and aquatic therapy (PM).
• Utilize evidence-based techniques in both orthopedic hand rehabilitation and aquatic therapy.
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently using our user-friendly EMR, PT Practice Pro.
• Collaborate effectively with our close-knit team of therapists to ensure comprehensive, continuous care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (MSPT or DPT).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred. New graduates with relevant clinical rotations in orthopedics or aquatic therapy are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest or experience in Hand Therapy and Aquatic Therapy is required - certification in either is a significant plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
• A team-oriented, detail-focused, and compassionate work style.
