Logistics Coordinator/Closer

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Coordinator to act as a leader and communication point of contact for Amazon Prime delivery drivers in Maple Grove. This position is primarily a logistics coordinator role; however, delivering may be required on occasion based on the needs of the company. The ideal candidate must be DETAIL ORIENTED as well as an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed under pressure. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes, resolve and overcome obstacles.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with on the road delivery routes as needed
• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls from drivers on routes
• Address problems and questions by evaluating situations and providing solutions
• Monitor routes and coordinate driver assistance as needed
• Ensure all drivers are completing their routes and performing up to company standards
• Check-in drivers when they return to station and return equipment
• Perform daily audits of vehicles and other equipment
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
• Organize dispatch desk area and ensure equipment is secure and ready for next shift
• Summarize end of day results to management

Requirements

• Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm Typical schedules are 10 hours, 3-4 days/week
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must complete delivery driver training (paid)
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must pass drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour
