We are seeking a highly experienced
Cloud Solution Architect
to design, build, and manage our cloud infrastructure across multiple public cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in
AWS, GCP, and Azure
, focusing on creating scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions that power our next generation of applications, including advanced
AI search engine
products and services built on
Large Language Models (LLMs)
and broader
Machine Learning (ML)
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Strategy & Design:
Develop and maintain the cloud architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals for performance, security, and elasticity. Design robust, fault-tolerant solutions primarily leveraging
AWS, GCP, and Azure
native services. - AI/ML Infrastructure:
Architect and optimize the infrastructure required for training, serving, and fine-tuning
Large Language Models (LLMs)
and other
Machine Learning
pipelines, ensuring high-throughput, low-latency, and cost-effective GPU resource utilization. - AI Search Engine Solutions:
Oversee the architectural implementation and scaling of our proprietary
AI search engine
. This includes designing highly available data ingestion, indexing, and query systems, and establishing best practices for distributed systems like
OpenSearch
and related analytics/vector databases. - Cost Management:
Monitor and optimize cloud spending through rightsizing, reserved instances/savings plans, and modern FinOps practices.
Qualifications
- Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in IT with at least 3 years in a dedicated Cloud Architect role. - Cloud Platforms:
Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience designing and deploying complex solutions on at least two of the following:
AWS, GCP, and Azure
. Certifications are highly desirable. - AI/ML Focus:
Proven experience architecting environments for data science workflows,
Machine Learning
model training and serving, especially involving large-scale datasets and compute resources necessary for
Large Language Models
. - Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing. - Programming:
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with application development processes. - Deep hands-on experience designing, scaling, and managing clusters of OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for high-volume, low-latency search applications.
- Experience with vector databases and technologies supporting modern
AI search engine
architectures.

Clearance Requirement:
Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Contract Contingency:
This Independent Contractor position is contingent upon contract award and final customer approval.
Timeline:
No formal offers will be extended until official notification of contract award is received. Candidates should be prepared for a potential start date that is determined by the contract award and customer onboarding schedule.
