Warehouse Associate

Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations at Karat Home's DFW distribution center. This role is responsible for handling inventory, preparing shipments, maintaining an organized warehouse environment, and supporting overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

● Assist with daily warehouse activities including receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products.

● Accurately pick and pack orders according to company standards and shipping requirements.

● Load and unload products manually or using warehouse equipment as required.

● Support inventory organization and proper storage of goods.

Inventory & Accuracy

● Follow inventory control procedures to ensure accurate counts and proper product handling.

● Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed.

● Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items to supervisors promptly.

Safety & Housekeeping

● Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

● Properly handle warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners, forklifts if certified).

● Report safety hazards, incidents, or equipment issues immediately.

Team Support

● Work collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.

● Support additional warehouse tasks as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

● Prior warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment experience is a plus but not required.

● Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

● Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

● Forklift or pallet jack experience (certification a plus).

● Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.

● Full-time, on-site position

● Location: Karat Home DFW-area warehouse

Compensation

● $18/Hr

Job Type: Full-time
