Position Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead and support day-to-day HR operations across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing employee relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, HR policy implementation, and coordination of payroll functions through ADP Workforce Now. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and brings strong HR expertise to help strengthen our processes and company culture.
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage daily HR functions including employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files, records, and HR documentation.
- Oversee HR policy implementation and recommend updates as needed.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles.
- Assist managers with job postings, interviews, candidate selection, and offer processes.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, including ADP WFN new-hire workflows and first-day orientation.
Payroll & HRIS (ADP Workforce Now)
- Manage HR-related payroll functions in ADP Workforce Now, including employee changes, earnings, deductions, and timekeeping oversight.
- Ensure accurate data entry and approval workflows between HR, payroll, and department managers.
- Supervise the HR Associate and oversee the bi-weekly payroll process for accuracy and compliance.
Benefits & Leaves
- Administer benefits programs including enrollment, changes, terminations, and employee communication.
- Manage leave of absence cases (FMLA, personal leave, workers' comp), ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Support employee training, safety initiatives, and compliance programs.
- Partner with leadership to improve communication, culture, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files, records, and HR documentation.
- Oversee HR policy implementation and recommend updates as needed.
Abilities/Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- SHRM-CP certification (required)
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar fast-paced environments
- Bilingual (English/Korean or English/Spanish)

Pay: $80, $100,000.00 per year
