Direct Support Professional (DSP)
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live more meaningful and independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors.
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of those you support, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor vital signs and medical needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience or education in patient care, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Understanding of behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of lifting techniques and providing physical assistance when needed.
- Familiarity with basic nursing tasks is a plus.
