Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Class A CDL Driver based in Greater Houston. The Class A CDL Driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws, and maintaining vehicles in proper working condition. Additional responsibilities include timely reporting, routine vehicle inspections, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), clean driving record, and DOT medical card
• Knowledge of traffic laws and best practices for vehicle and cargo safety
• Skill in vehicle maintenance checks and familiarity with safety protocols
• Strong communication and organizational skills for effective scheduling and documentation
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo
• At least 2 years of verified CDL driving experience is preferred
• Proven reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Experience using electronic logging devices (ELDs) or similar tracking systems is a plus
• Must be ready for strict pick up times and strict delivery times no exceptions
• Professional customer‑service attitude when interacting with shippers, receivers, and dispatch
• Ability to complete accurate trip reports, inspection logs, and delivery documentation
• Safe backing, maneuvering, and docking skills in tight or complex environments
