Lead Field Supervisor

Level: I Reports To: Project Manager / Superintendent

Summary

The Field Supervisor leads the on-site crew and ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. This role includes the responsibility of operating and maintaining a company-assigned truck and trailer, enforcing safety protocols, and managing daily site documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily job site operations
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Operate and maintain a company truck and trailer, including transporting tools, materials, and equipment
• Ensure the vehicle and trailer are kept clean, organized, and in good working condition
• Enforce all safety procedures and ensure crew members wear appropriate safety gear
• Conduct safety checks and correct unsafe behaviors or conditions
• Maintain daily reports, job logs, and other site documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project timelines
• Train and mentor Level 2 and Level 3 employees
• Perform Level 2 and Level 3 duties when necessary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, including leadership roles
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience towing and maneuvering trailers
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and OSHA regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in maintaining job site documentation and reports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
