Qualifications-

High School Diploma Accepted

Business Administration Degree Preferred

Post-secondary courses in office administration, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.

Experience working in areas requiring strict confidentiality

Job Description: Administrative Assistant/Patient Access Representative should have strong customer service skills, be able to multitasking, and have a calm, professional demeanor. They should also have great computer skills, Microsoft Office, Excel and experience with electronic health records​

Duties:

Greeting patients, you are the 1st point of contact for patients

Answering phones, directing phone calls and taking messages

Scheduling client appointments and assisting with walk-ins

Complete referral forms on client as they register

Verifying insurance reviewing benefits, obtaining prior authorization, and contacting insurance companies for coverage and billing

Updating patients files and appointment information

Maintain client file as they register

Communicating with other medical care staff and referring patients to other sources for assistance

Liaison and Coordinates transportation needs

Handling patient with confidentiality

Maintain a neat, clean and organized reception area perform other assigned office duties, as needed

Highly preferred someone with medical background, or experience in the mental health field

Business attire is required daily

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
