Position Summary
Festac Building Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support day-to-day project operations, assist project managers, and help ensure that construction activities run efficiently from planning through completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with site supervisors, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project managers with scheduling, documentation, budget tracking, and administrative coordination.
- Prepare project files, subcontractor agreements, change orders, daily reports, and job-site communication logs.
- Maintain accurate records, job costs, and material tracking for all active projects.
- Coordinate project timelines, delivery schedules, vendor communication, and subcontractor workflow.
- Assist with job-site readiness tasks including permits, inspections, safety documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members regarding project progress and updates.
- Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays, and help implement solutions.
- Support procurement activities by organizing material lists, obtaining quotes, and verifying deliveries.
- Ensure all project documents are properly filed, updated, and accessible to team members.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the successful completion of construction projects.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction coordination, project administration, or commercial construction support preferred.
- Strong understanding of general contracting, building maintenance, and commercial construction processes.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organization skills.
- Ability to read basic construction plans and understand project terminology (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general digital documentation tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $4, $5,700.00 per month
