Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical components and wiring according to schematics and technical drawings
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to accurately assemble products
  • Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components following IPC 610 standards
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for assembly processes
  • Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other electronic modules
  • Conduct testing using ohmmeters and other measurement tools to verify electrical connections and functionality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes
  • Perform quality inspections on assembled units, ensuring adherence to IPC 610 standards and mechanical specifications

Skills

  • Strong understanding of PCB assembly, electrical wiring, and schematics interpretation
  • Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) soldering and PCB manufacturing standards
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical troubleshooting techniques
  • Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, and use of hand tools such as calipers, screwdrivers, and power drills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies
  • Proficiency with testing equipment including ohmmeters and multimeters
  • Experience working with mechanical components, electrical wiring, and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high quality standards
