Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for orders using pick sheets or RF scanning technology.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure products are protected during shipping.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, meeting company standards.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and any necessary handling instructions.
- Stage packed orders in the correct areas for outgoing logistics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing station and overall work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality targets.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment, often under time pressure.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks including frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear all required PPE.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
