Are you an experienced Order Picker looking for a new opportunity in Kansas City, Missouri? Join our rapidly growing logistics team! As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their products accurately and on time. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the correct quantity and product type. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will work with state-of-the-art scanning equipment and follow detailed picking lists to fulfill orders. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is also a key aspect of this position. We expect all team members to prioritize safety, utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly, and contribute to a secure work atmosphere. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, and Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order slips.
- Use of RF scanners to track picked items and update inventory.
- Ensure correct item, quantity, and quality of products picked.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Perform routine checks on picking equipment.
- Must be able to perform manual Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and order forms.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and Lifting for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
