Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move pallets, materials, and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from racking systems.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and put-away tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow all operational procedures and instructions from supervisors.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed and trained.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Must be safety-conscious and attentive to detail.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests, steel-toed boots, and hard hats.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
