Responsibilities:
- Efficiently unload merchandise from incoming trucks and containers.
- Verify the quantity and quality of received goods against shipping documents.
- Safely store and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as trained and certified.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and common areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Capability for consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional overtime as needed.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Must wear appropriate PPE provided by the company, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and efficiency in all logistics operations.
