Job Summary:
Our expanding operations in Phoenix, Arizona, are seeking a proactive and skilled Inventory Control Specialist. This position is key to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system, which is fundamental to our overall logistics success. You will be responsible for conducting audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize losses. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and possesses strong problem-solving abilities. A thorough understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse management systems is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory variances, identifying root causes.
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, turns, and aging.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy and flow.
  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce shrinkage and obsolescence.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Properly manage and enforce the use of PPE.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on inventory performance.
  • Assist with training warehouse staff on inventory procedures.
  • Support tasks involving Lifting and material handling as needed to ensure accurate stock placement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role, preferably within logistics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with WMS and MS Office Suite. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated understanding of Safety best practices in a warehouse environment. Physical ability to perform tasks including moderate Lifting.
