About
We are seeking an organized and diligent Receiving Clerk for our Austin, Texas warehouse. This role is central to managing the incoming flow of goods, ensuring accuracy, and preparing inventory for distribution. You will be responsible for unloading shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and accurately documenting all received items. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in our logistics operations are essential. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ), is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Inspect received goods for quantity, quality, and damage.
- Accurately record all incoming inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Verify received items against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
