Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and arrange inventory to maximize space and maintain accessibility.
- Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear and use all required PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats when necessary.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed, verifying contents and quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent hazards and ensure efficiency.
- Contribute to accurate inventory management through careful handling of goods.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet operational demands and deadlines.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety in all material handling activities, fostering a safety-first culture.
- Be prepared for the physical demands, including frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
- Follow all established guidelines for handling materials to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
