We are looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help us deliver the high-quality Italian cuisine our guests return for time and time again.

Position Overview
The Line Cook plays a key role in executing Cello's menu with consistency, precision, and pride. The ideal candidate brings experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, a passion for Italian flavors, and the ability to work collaboratively during busy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to Cello's established recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station throughout each shift.
  • Assist with daily prep, including sauces, pastas, proteins, vegetables, and classic Italian components.
  • Ensure all food is cooked, seasoned, and held at proper temperatures.
  • Work closely with chefs and fellow cooks to ensure smooth, timely service.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in line with health department standards.
  • Restock and rotate product (FIFO) and ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
  • Take part in maintaining a positive, team-focused kitchen culture.

Qualifications

  • Prior line cook experience required; experience with Italian cuisine preferred.
  • Strong knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to perform well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction from the culinary leadership team.

Job Type: Full-time
