As a Technician Apprentice at BMW of Seattle, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced BMW technicians. This apprenticeship is designed to help you develop the skills and expertise to become a certified BMW technician. Whether you're a recent graduate from the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) or have relevant training in automotive technology, we encourage you to apply
Requirements for consideration:
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Must have your own set of tools
- Passion for cars and a desire to grow in the automotive field, especially with the BMW brand
- 2-year Automotive Technology Degree completed or on track for graduation in 2025/ early 2026. Universal Technical Institute (UTI) graduates of Fast Track or Step programs are preferred.
- Completion of or willingness to complete BMW Associates Level ASE
- Dealership experience
- BMW brand experience
Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Technician you will be responsible for completing assigned services and/or repairs in an efficient and effective manner, providing workmanship that displays pride and quality.
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
- Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining BMW vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
- Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
