Your work will be used to elevate the visibility of oral health by generating a portfolio of credible innovation use cases to be adopted more broadly and increase awareness about CareQuest Innovation Partners' impact with the larger ecosystem of partners.
CareQuest Innovation Partners is a for-profit, mission-focused subsidiary of CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, the largest foundation focused on improving oral health. The Senior Manager Innovation Programs and Services will work in a multi-disciplinary Innovation Programs & Services team and in close collaboration with key functions across the enterprise including Analytics & Business Intelligence, Ventures/Investing, and Marketing/PR. You will also further grow our ecosystem and positioning through relationship activation with key industry partners and the development of thought-leadership that elevates the visibility of oral health within overall healthcare, advancing our mission and driving meaningful impact.
ROLE OBJECTIVES:
Develops, leads execution, and continuously improves innovation programs and partnerships across our focus areas. Provides business/operational expertise to shape new and grow existing programs, partnerships, and relationships within the CareQuest ecosystem and partner network
Identifies, evaluates, and advances innovation in oral/systemic health on behalf of CQIP programs or in support of CQIP investment decisions
Develops data-driven, actionable point of views (internally and externally) on the oral and oral/systemic health innovation landscape; communicates point of view via thought leadership and events to increase awareness of the importance of oral health for key decision makers and to build CQIP's brand
Partners with analytics and business intelligence team members to develop market analyses and distill critical clinical and business insights into actionable recommendations for decision makers
Engages and drives new and existing partnerships (including payers, providers, commercial, & investors) across the CareQuest ecosystem
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business case development : Develop comprehensive rationale to support key decisions around investment, solution development, and clinical outcomes. Manages and effectively collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams including analytics staff to distill data into actionable insights for decision making and dissemination.
Program or pilot design, execution, and scale :Scope, plan, and lead CQIP programs and partnerships, including identification of goals, target populations, key stakeholders, KPIs, operating model, activities and milestones, and risks and mitigations. Lead the development of playbooks and assets that support scale and reach of innovations across the ecosystem.
Solution diligence and validation : Leverage business and operational experience and expertise to evaluate market viability, feasibility, desirability, and product market fit for innovations for our SMILE Health and ACCELERATE platforms and potential CQIP investments
Relationship management and business development: Develop new and strengthen existing relationships with key decision-makers and industry leaders across the CareQuest ecosystem, including relationships to strengthen startup/partner matching, deepen and expand analytics capabilities and data assets, engage leading health systems, DSOs, and dental and medical plans in medical-dental integration, and relationships with external subject matter experts. Partner effectively across the team and enterprise to reach and advance emerging innovation, corporate partnerships, and startups aligned with our mission. Identify opportunities for novel solutions and "unlikely partnerships" that advance organizational goals.
Thought leadership: Develop and disseminate thought leadership, white papers, and marketing materials describing CQIP programs, outcomes, and implications for the industry. Enhance the positive reputation of CareQuest Innovation Partners and its programs and services and represent CareQuest Innovation Partners as a thought-leader and driver of change in oral health and integrated care. Collaborate with marketing and PR from CareQuest Institute to coordinate key events, conferences, etc.
Management and operations: Manage, collaborate, and lead multi-disciplinary team members and projects; lead initiatives to grow/strengthen people, processes, and technology/tools, fostering a positive culture, strengthened competencies, and positioning the organization for increased, scalable impact
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in client service, advisory and/or strategy consulting
Bachelor's degree in a business or healthcare-related field; master's degree in business or related area preferred
5+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or industry
3-4 years in a management or leadership role
Demonstrated business and operational subject matter expertise and experience in healthcare; knowledge of key industry trends
Knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Business strategy and case development in healthcare including key value drivers for both providers and payers
Pilot/project/program leadership, design, and management
Dental and/or medical workflows
Dental and/or medical data and quality/financial measurement
Data analytics tools/techniques
Understanding of medical and dental insurance and provider market dynamics including value-based contracting and Medicare and Medicaid contracts
Building and managing relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and other external and cross-enterprise partners, including proven ability to effectively foster collaboration and value exchange. Attention to detail and a curious mindset to explore data, uncover hidden insights, and validate assumptions
Possess excellent interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills honed for executive stakeholders, with ability to create and tailor materials to different audiences?
Experience being client-facing to build relationships and represent CareQuest Innovation Partners in the ecosystem
Experience managing and delivering in lean, agile environments
Strong leadership and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and activate key stakeholders, and build strong teams & talent
Ability to independently drive to outcomes in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities within a multi-disciplinary team
Can problem solve risks and issues amid complexity or ambiguity
Expertise utilizing MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Passion for improving healthcare through innovation
The target hiring range for this role is $129,285- $180,000 (Annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
