About the Role
As a Warehouse Distribution Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising daily warehouse operations including the receipt of deliveries, inventory control within the facility, and providing leadership and direction to a team of leads and associates, ensuring efficient workflow, clear communication, and a positive, safety-driven work environment. This role works closely with management and other departments, and drives operational excellence through effective planning, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Details
- Pay Rate: $21.00
- Overnight shifts include an additional $2.00/hour premium, automatically applied to any hours worked between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure order accuracy and on-time truck departures
- Oversee and supervise warehouse team members supporting receiving, picking, and inventory control, including processing incoming materials, and coordinating order picking and loading
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Assign and monitor staff tasks while supporting scheduling, performance, and team productivity
- Maintain a clean, safe, and optimized work environment across all warehouse areas through enforcing all company safety, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Track, review, and communicate daily operational metrics, including productivity, delays, and safety results
- Identify and resolve operational issues proactively to maintain service levels and improve workflow efficiency
- Walk the floor to observe performance, engage with associates, and drive continuous improvement
- Operate warehouse equipment and ensure facilities, tools, and supplies are maintained and operational
- Utilize systems such as Workday to assist with payroll and staffing accuracy
- Partner with leadership to address process gaps and support action plans for improved performance
- Support training initiatives
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or related environment
- Experience with Inventory/Outbound/Shipping/Receiving preferred
- Forklift certified preferred
- 6+ months of experience using technology such as smart phones and tablets, inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Ability to navigate and input information via inventory tracking system.
- Food Safety and HACCP guideline knowledge including proper protein food safety
- Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Ability to work effectively in team environments
Requirements
- 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Able to lift, pull, and push 50 pounds of weight by oneself
- Able to stand a full shift while working
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working in various temperatures including cold environments degrees Fahrenheit depending on site) and occasional freezer temperatures ranging anywhere from 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to communicate effectively as needed to carry out job functions, including reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
