Fiber Optic Puller

Locations: Albuquerque, New Mexico & Las Cruces, New Mexico

Summary
We're looking for Fiber Optic Pullers to join our growing construction teams in Albuquerque and/or Las Cruces. This is a hands‑on, physical role where you'll install and route fiber optic cable through conduits, ducts, and vaults. You'll work outdoors, use specialized equipment, and help build the backbone of modern fiber networks. This position offers steady work, strong advancement potential, and many opportunities to grow within the telecom construction industry.

What You'll Do
You'll prepare job sites, set up and operate fiber‑pulling and blowing equipment, and make sure cable is installed safely and without damage. The work includes reading basic construction drawings, completing daily documentation, coordinating with field crews, and performing simple equipment checks.

This is active, physical labor involving lifting, pulling, and working with tools in different weather conditions. Safety is a major priority.

What You Need
It is preferred to have experience pulling fiber, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background and drug test.

Strong communication, reliability, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. You should be comfortable with physical labor and outdoor work.

Safety Expectations
You must follow all safety rules, use required PPE, attend safety meetings, report hazards immediately, and keep tools and equipment stored safely. You may also need to help direct traffic when required.
