Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Dayton, OH team. The position provides an opportunity to join an elite team and enhance the performance of an organization whose primary mission is to support our nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be self-starter who can work independently, with little guidance, operating within their supervisor's intent. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians and professionals who work together to disrupt and challenge the status quo to design, develop, and produce state-of-the-art technologies.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems Scope of work includes research and development, initial concept through requirements definition, topology selection, detailed design, analysis, optimization, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and delivery to the customer.
The selected Engineer will have responsibility for the following areas:
- Design electrical and electronic systems for certain applications.
- Create and manage technical documentation, including interface control documents and design reports.
- Manage projects from concept to production.
- Analyze and translate high-level requirements into detailed system specifications.
- Plan and conduct tests as needed to verify system performance.
- Resolve issues with systems as they arise.
- Ensure all designs and systems comply with relevant regulations.
- Analyze design risks, anticipate, and mitigate risks when possible, and report concerns to the supervisor.
- Manage/mentor junior engineers.
- Travel as needed to support program needs.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree required. An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Five (5) + years of hands-on experience using RF test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
- Programming capability in C, VBA, Python, or Matlab.
- Experience in ensuring design meets set requirements for performance, schedule, and cost.
- Have good interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills to maintain effective working relationships as part of a technical team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS PowerPoint.
CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- U.S. Citizenship required. Eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Special Access Program experience preferred.
