Commercial Plumbing Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Commercial Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in commercial plumbing, providing a foundation for a career in commercial plumbing construction and mechanical systems.

The role involves working & learning alongside experienced professionals on various projects, including new commercial plumbing construction and renovations.

Candidates should have a strong interest in commercial plumbing construction, desire for the skilled trade, has common sense and would like to work with a focus on safety, quality, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Eager, with a strong desire to learn the commercial plumbing trade.
• Common sense, excellent work ethics and ability to follow direction.
• Overtime and weekends are required when needed.
• Assist with installation, repair, boilers and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to understand project requirements.
• Support pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly tasks on-site.
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Learn to operate various construction equipment and tools under supervision.

Skills

• Construction site experience or familiarity with construction environments preferred.
• Basic understanding of plumbing systems, schematics, and mechanical knowledge
• Experience with welding, pipe threading, and assembly is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and estimations.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
