Production Supervisor

Production Supervisors are responsible for planning work schedules, assigning tasks, and maintaining adequate staffing levels to ensure efficient operations and adaptability to changing workloads. They lead by example, addressing performance, safety, training, and personnel matters while collaborating with employees and management to solve problems, improve productivity, and uphold facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan work schedules, assign duties, and adjust staffing to meet workload demands.
• Supervise and support employees by reviewing work, resolving issues, and providing coaching on performance, safety, and customer service.
• Enforce safety regulations, oversee housekeeping tasks, and inspect equipment for compliance and wear.
• Assist with training and onboarding, including forklift certification and safety procedures.
• Maintain records related to training, inspections, and performance evaluations, and conduct staff meetings.
• Participate in hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions, while fostering employee growth and development.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1 plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior management experience is preferred
• Must be licensed to operate all industrial powered trucks on the premises
• Must be able to use dollies, hand-trucks and accessories, pallet jacks, wrapping machinery etc.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory criminal history check
• Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening
