Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentist in providing quality dental care to patients. This role requires knowledge of aseptic techniques, dental terminology, and medical documentation. We are willing to train.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental.

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 year prior experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in Open Dental.
- Knowledge of dental documentation and terminology
- Understanding of anatomy and medical imaging
- Knowledge of Implants and 3D Scanning

Office Hours : 8am-5pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
