Warehouse Associate

Weekdays 11:30AM-8:30PM OR LATER as needed

Job Responsibilites:

• work as a team member with co-workers, contractors, Operations/Dispatch, and Management
• closing warehouse end of day and ability to close warehouse operation independently
• Receiving shipments arriving to dock and inspecting for damages
• loading and unloading trucks with forklift or pallet jack
• Staging shipments and labeling as needed and keeping warehouse in order
• performing dock checks to assure accuracy of inventory on dock and matching data in dispatch system
• packing of shipments as per customer instructions
• offloading route drivers/ reweighing and dimming freight and documenting on ppwk for dispatch
• loading and strapping freight as needed
• accompanying drivers on multi men job deliveries or pick ups
• keeping warehouse nice and neat and in good appearance

Work Experience:

• Experience in airfreight transportation preferred
• 2 years Forklift/ Pallet Jack/ freight load and unload and strapping

Skills:

• Multitasking a must
• Task prioritizing a must
• ability to work as a team with office, warehouse, drivers
• Forklift/PJ/ freight strapping
• Ability to load oversize/tall freight
• ability to keep inventory on spreadsheets and software
• experience with Outlook and excel preferred.
• strong work ethic and positive attitude
• has to get TSA certified for warehouse and pass background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
