Responsibilities

• Lead the entire lifecycle of construction projects from initial planning through final delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate all phases seamlessly.
• Oversee construction estimating processes to accurately forecast costs and resource needs.
• Manage contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, progress tracking, and communication.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings like Civil 3D to guide on-site activities effectively.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety standards, quality control, and progress; address issues proactively.
• Coordinate project teams on-site and off-site to ensure smooth workflow and timely problem resolution.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders.
• Implement project scheduling strategies using Primavera P6 or similar tools to optimize resource allocation and minimize delays.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate collaboration and transparency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site management with a solid understanding of heavy civil or commercial projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency with construction estimating tools and software such as HeavyBid or Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and communication purposes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings confidently; familiarity with Civil 3D is highly desirable.
• Experience managing contracts, project scheduling, and project coordination across multiple teams.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on construction site experience combined with a solid understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.
• Effective communicator capable of leading teams, negotiating contracts, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields are preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Pay: $79, $96,341.50 per year
