Qualifications and Ideal Fit

The ideal candidate for the Cabinet Installer Apprentice role possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn, and the physical stamina required for construction work. No prior cabinet installation experience is necessary, but a background in related trades is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English to complete training, documentation, and communicate with clients/mentors.
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites.
  • Willingness to adhere strictly to all safety and company procedures.

Your Responsibilities (What You'll Master)

You will be responsible for quickly developing technical expertise, upholding quality, and embracing our culture. Key duties include:

  • Hands-on Learning: Participating in all phases of cabinet installation, from site preparation and measurement to dry-fitting, precise refacing, and hardware installation.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintaining strict adherence to all company and OSHA safety guidelines on every job site.
  • Professionalism: Being Reliable (consistent attendance), Motivated (taking initiative), and demonstrating excellent customer communication.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with your mentor and team to quickly solve problems and achieve project goals.
