Siding Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Siding Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in siding installation and a strong background in various construction disciplines. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Siding Installer will collaborate with project managers, carpenters, and other trades to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of siding materials, including vinyl, wood, fiber cement, and metal panels, according to project specifications and blueprints
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation plans
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete siding projects
• Measure and cut materials precisely to fit designated areas, ensuring seamless finishes
• Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials to facilitate installation on multi-story or large-scale projects
• Coordinate with other trades such as roofing, framing, masonry, plumbing, and drywall to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Assist in estimating project costs related to siding materials and labor when needed
• Perform caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and other finishing tasks as required for project completion
• Contribute to restoration or remodeling projects by providing skilled siding installation services

Qualifications

• Proven experience in siding installation or related construction roles with knowledge of roofing, framing, masonry, or remodeling preferred
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment safely
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings accurately
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus
• Experience with heavy lifting and working at heights on various job sites
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices for exterior wall systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Physical stamina for demanding labor including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
