Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic, high end Bartender to join our dynamic team at the brand new Hotel Indigo Troy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Micros POS systems.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for banquets and catering events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation to enhance guest experiences.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during peak hours in nightclub or fine dining settings.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in using POS systems such as Micros is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
