About the Role:

Bolton Inc. is seeking a responsible and safety-focused CDL Driver to transport equipment, materials, and supplies between job sites, facilities, and suppliers across Hawaiʻi Island. This role requires a dependable driver with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a solid driving record, and experience hauling various types of loads—including construction materials, heavy equipment, and green waste.

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and capable of supporting field teams through safe and timely deliveries while maintaining vehicle condition and compliance with DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company trucks to transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites
  • Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using proper methods and tie-down procedures
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Keep accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records
  • Ensure all loads comply with weight limits, permits, and safety regulations
  • Assist with basic equipment checks and on-site deliveries as needed
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and job site leads
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B, depending on vehicle)
  • Clean driving record and familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Experience hauling construction materials, equipment, or agricultural loads preferred
  • Ability to safely operate flatbeds, dump trucks, or water trucks as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with physical tasks when required
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience in construction, hauling, or related field preferred
  • Comfortable working outdoors in variable conditions and terrains
