We are seeking an experienced Contract HR Generalist to join our team with an immediate primary focus on full-cycle recruiting. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes and employee onboarding while providing support on additional HR functions as needed. The ideal candidate will be a proactive talent acquisition professional who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. There is an opportunity for this role to become a full-time employee in 2026.
Requirements:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple positions across various departments and levels
- Source qualified candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and direct outreach
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidate qualifications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels
- Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to evaluate candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles
- Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate compensation within approved parameters
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with hiring processes
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring pipeline status
- Develop and post compelling job descriptions that attract top talent
- Facilitate positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Support onboarding activities for new hires
- Assist with employee relations matters and respond to employee inquiries
- Support HR compliance activities and maintain employee records
- Coordinate with benefits administration and HR systems as needed
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Required:
- 3+ years of HR experience with substantial focus on recruiting and talent acquisition
- Proven track record of successfully filling positions across multiple functions and levels
- Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with various recruiting channels and tools
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
- Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Industry-specific recruiting experience relevant to our organization
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices in recruiting
