Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Toast POS and cash registers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Uphold food safety standards and regulations in all aspects of food and beverage preparation.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in bartending techniques and knowledge of drink recipes.
• Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices within the food industry.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
• Previous experience in fine dining, restaurants, or nightclubs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
