Hotel Housekeeping Associate

Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas. Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service. Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed. Providing clean room conditions in a timely manner. Hours are usually a minimum of 30 hours a week, but average between 30 and full 40 hours a week. Hours vary depending on occupancy, but typically work from 7/7:15am-3:30/4pm sometimes earlier sometimes later. Potential pay increase after just one month of employment.

Summary

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, your core skills in cleaning, floor care, and hospitality will ensure a welcoming environment for our guests. Your experience in janitorial and custodial tasks, along with any housekeeping management knowledge, will enhance our team's efficiency. We expect you to uphold high standards of cleanliness and contribute positively to the overall guest experience in our establishment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping and janitorial roles within a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong cleaning and floor care skills.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and housekeeping management.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
• Execute floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to uphold hotel standards and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to manage inventory and supplies efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues and assist in the overall upkeep of hotel facilities.
