Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including inventory management, materials handling, order fulfillment, and operating heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and safety standards, with opportunities for growth into supervisory or management positions. The Warehouse Worker will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and accurate distribution processes within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping while maintaining quality standards
• Stock shelves and organize materials in designated areas to optimize warehouse space
• Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including documentation and tracking of shipments
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and mechanical knowledge protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks as needed, including materials handling and packaging tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience is preferred, especially in distribution or manufacturing environments
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or pallet jacks is highly desirable
• Previous roles involving order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, or stock management are beneficial

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
