You'll have the opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment and engage in a wide range of activities, focused on providing speech and language in our clinical centers and in client homes.

What our Speech-Language Pathologist will do:

• Oversee client treatment from assessment through care delivery
• See their clients on a weekly set schedule. The hours that are typically needed are after-school hours starting around 3:30 p.m.
• Work as many as 5 days per week or as little as 1 day per week, we are open to working with an SLP's availability.
• Develop, oversee and implement client's Assessment and Treatment Plans
• Must be able to apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical science to specialized techniques in the treatment of patients, and appropriately position patients with various conditions for different types of treatments.
• Able to instruct students, interns, and other care givers, patients and family members in methods and objectives of speech therapy.
• Consult with physicians and clinicians concerning goals, treatment, and outcomes.
• Able to assist in the orientation process of other staff.
• Willing to attend, participate and provide in-center or in-home services.
• Monitor and review client programs to analyze data, measure progress and make necessary changes to the treatment plan
• Meet with primary caregivers to discuss observations and concerns
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and schools to share information and implement best practice intervention programs across settings
• Attend and participate in team meetings where ideas, success stories, and recent research topics are presented for discussion and use in treatment

You're perfect for the position if you:

• Possess a M.A. or M. S. in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from and accredited graduate program, awarded by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
• Can develop and administer speech-language treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of communication, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders to maximize function and independence.
