Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Class B Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across designated routes.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations.
  • Drive with precision and professionalism, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving.
  • Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes to maximize efficiency and punctuality.
  • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and handle various types of freight including refrigerated goods, heavy loads on flatbeds, or liquid cargo in tankers.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, load & unload activities, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.
  • Follow all safety procedures related to the operation of different truck types and freight handling equipment like forklifts or dump trucks.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on Class B vehicles; delivery driver experience is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely.
  • Familiarity with driving, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of load securing techniques for various freight types to ensure safety during transit.
  • Experience in route planning and navigation for efficient delivery schedules.
  • Ability to load & unload cargo using appropriate equipment while maintaining safety standards.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements for operating specific truck types such as tankers or flatbeds.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
