Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Healthcare)

Location: Newport Beach, CA

Type: Full-Time, On-Site Only

Compensation: $25.00/hour base pay + performance bonuses

Target Annual Earnings: $60,000 to $75,000+ (base + bonuses, depending on performance)

About Vitasigns

Vitasigns is a fast‑growing healthcare technology startup based in Newport Beach. We partner with leading physicians and health systems to keep patients with chronic conditions connected to their care teams between office visits through Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), telehealth check‑ins, and related virtual care programs.

We are not a typical medical office or call‑center environment. All patient interactions happen remotely, allowing our team to support patients through technology, data, and compassionate communication rather than in‑person visits. This approach helps patients manage conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease more effectively, from the comfort of their home.

The Role

We are hiring a 
Sales Development Representative (Healthcare)
 to manage patient outreach, educate patients on program benefits, and enroll them into their doctor recommended monitoring programs.

What You Will Do

Patient Outreach and Engagement

  • Conduct outbound calls, texts, and follow ups to patients referred to us by their physicians.
  • Quickly build rapport, communicate clearly, and guide patients through a short but precise program explanation.

Program Education and Qualification

  • Explain the value of Remote Patient Monitoring in simple, relatable terms.
  • Handle concerns and questions with confidence, accuracy, and empathy.
  • Help patients understand why their doctor wants them enrolled and how the program supports their health.

Enrollment and Closing

  • Lead the patient through the enrollment and consent process.
  • Ensure each enrollment is completed accurately and fully, following a precise onboarding checklist.
  • Confirm patient understanding and make sure they know what to expect next.

CRM Ownership and Pipeline Management

  • Work in our CRM (HubSpot) throughout the day to update patient information, notes, and statuses.
  • Manage your own pipeline of assigned patients, maintain consistent follow up, and meet monthly enrollment targets.
  • Take full ownership of your metrics and performance.

Team Collaboration

  • Partner with operations and clinical teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Bring feedback from patient interactions to help refine scripts, messaging, and process improvements.
  • Participate in continuous coaching and training to improve productivity and performance.

What Success Looks Like

  • You consistently hit and exceed your monthly enrollment targets.
  • Your enrollments are completed accurately and cleanly, with all required onboarding steps completed.
  • Patients feel informed, respected, and supported after speaking with you.
  • You manage your pipeline proactively and maintain high activity standards.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year in a performance based role such as SDR, BDR, call center, outbound sales, admissions, or high volume customer service.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
  • Strong communication skills with a confident, warm phone presence.
  • Ability to keep CRM notes updated and navigate multiple systems while on calls.
  • Motivated by clear goals, performance metrics, and earning potential.
  • Able to work 100 percent on site in our Newport Beach office, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, medical office, insurance, or other patient facing settings.
  • HubSpot or CRM experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Farsi, Korean, or Mandarin.

Compensation and Incentives

  • Base Pay: $25.00 per hour.
  • Performance Bonuses: You earn a bonus for every patient you enroll.
  • Accelerated Bonus Rate: Once you hit your monthly enrollment target, the bonus rate increases for additional enrollments.
  • Earning Potential: Most representatives can expect total earnings between $60,000 and $75,000+, based on performance.
  • We reserve the right to adjust bonus rates and targets periodically (e.g., annually or semi‑annually) based on technology changes, actual productivity data, and changes in reimbursement or margins.
  • Variable compensation structures may be updated from time to time with 30 days' written notice.

We created this structure to reward consistent, accurate performance and to give high performers the ability to earn well above the base.

  • Full time, Monday to Friday.
