Required Related Experience

6 yrs

Required License/Registration/Certification

Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

May include standing for greater than five hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day, as well as the ability to reach items above shoulder-level and lift up to 25 pounds.

Shift

Primarily dayshift Mon – Fri; Some nights/weekends/holidays may be required. This is a hybrid role.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Quality and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing compliance and quality assurance for outpatient systems across all outpatient pharmacy areas. This role involves developing and managing outpatient pharmacy programs, coordinating training and ensuring adherence to accreditation standards. The coordinator will also support informatics tasks, manage system access, and contribute to the development and implementation of new pharmacy systems and workflows. Additionally, the coordinator will collaborate with various teams to create training materials, and standardize documentation to enhance operational efficiency and compliance within the pharmacy department.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Comprehensive understanding of accreditation requirements; attention to detail; data management; and consistently maintains knowledge related to changes in pharmacy practice, systems, or practice guidelines.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree and/or ambulatory/retail or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
